I’ve been very very busy doing CLASSIFIED research for Roxane Gay (don’t even ask) and writing This Writer’s on Fire at The Butter (also for Roxane Gay). It’s is the most awesome job in the world to read great work then write what amounts to a love letter to the writers. It’s all love.

I finally get to announce that I’m not just the fabulous Roxane Gay’s new research assistant, but also an Assistant Editor at her site, The Butter!! I’m beyond excited about this. Roxane Gay is an incredible writer and I can’t believe I get to work for her. To say that she’s one of the most important writers of our generation is an understatement. Seriously, her sentences alone will make you cry with joy (and maybe a little jealousy). Read her stuff if you want to learn about writing and the world. I’m trying not to fangirl out and be all professional here, but apparently that’s impossible.
